I used to hate wearing too much color and standing out or clashing. I used to hate wearing something that was all the same color for fear of being too “match-matchy.” (I also used to be scared to wear horizontal stripes but that’s a story for another time.) And we all know I hated wearing blue tops with blue jeans. Too much color was obnoxious and all black was boring or goth.
But monochromatic and bold colored looks are all the rage recently.

We all know these looks will steal the show, but why not try it with grayscale colors? Celebrities and fashion icons do it all the time (we all know that black is slimming).
It’s also a much easier outfit to put together. You don’t have to match a pink blazer to the exact same shade of pink pants. Just grab your black and white and gray clothes and you’re all set!
So when I was in Lake Arrowhead a few weekends ago, I decided to give it a try. And loved it! It’s so chic and easy and I loved it.
