If you know me, then you know that Coachella time is like Christmas time for me. And if you don’t know me, then get ready for an overload of Coachella pictures.
And as we all know, Coachella is the kickoff of festival season and summer and all things good.
But it is also the worlds first look at this seasons fashion trends. I usually have my Coachella outfits picked out AT LEAST a month before hand so this year I decided to put that to good use and do a little Coachella look book.
I teamed up with the amazing @fromabolivian (you might remember her from my Downtown LA looks) and my awesome blogger friends @sointheknow and @nessasarymakeup.
My first look sprouted from one of my best thrift store finds ever. This perfect floral duster is actually a size 14 button up dress.
I had every intention of turning this into a high slit skirt (remove the top, add some elastic to the waist and unbutton some of the buttons). But the minute I put it on, I knew that it needed no such alterations. So I went to work putting the rest of the ensemble together. And I think the results worked out pretty well.
A perfect look for frolicking around the open fields of Coachy.

Look number 2 was taken from the major mesh trend that is circulating right now. Mesh is comfortable, and breathable and perfect for hot desert weather. It’s also super sexy when used the right way.
This look is very comfortable and on trend and would be perfect for a day in the desert. Just make sure to wear sunscreen because I’m not 100% positive what a mesh sunburn would look like…
And yes those bottoms are swimsuit bottoms, thanks for noticing.

The third look was once again inspired by the high slit look that I was initially trying to achieve with the duster. I love me a good bodysuit and who doesn’t love a little leg?!
You might recognize this skirt from a more conservative look…but this is the perfect example of how transformable most of your clothes are!
And yes that is a puppy and his name is Rocky and you should follow him on Instagram.

And of COURSE we did some group shots.
Sometimes you need to shoot your album cover,
And sometimes you just need to be a little…cheeky…
I’ll see you all in the desert…
